TEACHER DAY
Indonesia celebrates TEACHER DAY on the 25th of November every year. It is held to commemorate KONGRES GURU INDONESIA (the Indonesian Teacher Congress) which was held on 24 - 25 November 1945, just a few months after Indonesia declared its independence.
